Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Vantablvck mobile app on iPhone (iOS) and Android, why, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights (GDPR / CCPA, Apple App Store and Google Play Data Safety requirements).

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) for cross-app tracking or targeted ads. If that changes, we will update this policy, Apple App Privacy labels, and Google Play Data Safety.
3. How we collect
- Directly — signup, profile, posts, reports, messages
- Automatically — app usage and technical logs; location, camera, microphone, and push only if you grant permission on iOS or Android
- Processors — cloud auth, storage, push, realtime media (see §5)
4. Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract — provide the service (account, feed, map, interactions, live)
- Legitimate interest — security, abuse prevention, product improvement
- Legal obligation — when required by law
- Consent — device permissions (camera, mic, photos/videos, location, notifications) and optional processing
5. Recipients / processors
- AWS Cognito — authentication
- AWS (e.g. S3 / DynamoDB / hosting) — storage & backend
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — iOS notifications if enabled
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) / Google Play services — Android notifications if enabled (via Expo Notifications)
- LiveKit (when used) — realtime audio/video for Maquis rooms
Content you publish is visible to other users as designed. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect safety and rights.
6. International transfers
Processing may occur in the EU and/or outside the EU (e.g. via AWS, Apple, Google). Appropriate safeguards are used where required.
7. Retention
- Account data — while the account is active
- UGC — until deleted by you, moderated, or account deletion
- Push tokens — while notifications are enabled / the device is registered
- Technical logs — typically up to 90 days
- After account deletion — personal data removed; residual backups purged within 30 days
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent (e.g. iOS Settings or Android Settings → Apps → Vantablvck). Contact last-task-unit@hotmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. CNIL in France).
9. Account deletion
To meet App Store and Google Play requirements, you can request account deletion:
- Open Vantablvck
- Go to Settings (or Profile)
- Tap Delete Account and confirm

10. Security
TLS in transit, access controls, cloud best practices. No system is perfect — report suspected incidents to the contact above.
11. Children
The App is for users 17+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. Birth date is used to enforce this rule.
12. User-generated content & safety
Vantablvck includes UGC. In-app report and block tools are available. See our Terms of Use.
13. Device permissions (iOS and Android)
We only request access needed for features you use. You can deny or revoke permissions anytime in system settings.

On Android, some system services (e.g. media playback / microphone during a live session) may require a foreground service for the duration of that session. This is not used to collect data outside those features.
14. Store disclosures (App Privacy & Data Safety)
Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data Safety summaries cover the categories above, including: account info, UGC, approximate location (if allowed), device identifiers / push tokens, and technical usage data. Those store forms must stay aligned with this policy.
15. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email.
